Ans : A student can give his intermediate exam after 8 months of registration with ICAI. A student can get himself registered with ICAI only after clearing Foundation Exam. Since the result of Foundation exam is generally declared in mid january, therefore his first attempt for Intermediate exams will become due in November 2019.

Q. How to decide whether a student has the capability of giving one group or both groups?
Ans : Its very simple. Start with group 1 classes first. Study them with sincerity. By Mid-May, your Cost and taxation LIVE batch would be completed. You would have also completed Accounts recorded batch by then. Try to complete Law by self study.
ICAI conducts Intermediate exams for Group 1 in first week of May and November every year. The exam papers are uploaded by ICAI within a week. Download the May exam paper and solve it. If you find it very easy (Just like foundation exam), then start your group 2 classes from Mid-May. If you find it difficult to solve the questions, then stick to group 1 only.
Q. Which mode of study is preferable: LIVE classes or Recorded Classes or HARDISK classes?
Ans : At M.K.GUPTA CA EDUCATION, we have the vision to give quality education more than making money. With this vision, we introduced all the three modes of study.
If you want to save travelling time, have the habit of studying in night, can study for 6-8 hours at a stretch, then go for HARDISK classes. It’s the recoding of LIVE classes only and you can study it at your home.
If you lack in self discipline and need a proper time schedule which pushes you to study, then you can join our Recorded batch. Under this mode of study, a separate computer with separate headphones will be provided to you. You shall be required to come at the institute at your allotted time and can leave as soon as you complete your lecture. Best part is, even if you come early and computer is available, you can start your lecture immediately. Similarly, if you reach late on any day, you don’t miss anything. You start your lecture as you switch ON the computer. Further, even if you wish to study more than 1 lecture on any particular day, you can view it subject to availability of computer. All such benefits are not available under LIVE classes.
Last, if you are casual and need the presence of teacher and students around you, then LIVE classes are best for you.
IMPORTANT : Under all modes of study, you will have periodical tests to evaluate your performance.
Regarding Queries, just like foundation classes, you can come to institute and ask the queries after the class irrespective of mode of study you prefer.
Q. I am sure of taking classes at MKG but still in dilemma about mode of study.
Ans : Get yourself registered for all subjects and start taking Accounts recorded batch. By the time your foundation result is released, you would almost complete your accounts and get a complete picture of Recorded batch. So you can decide the mode of study of other two subjects.
