New syllabus from May 2018.
Weightage of Income Tax increased by 10% and weightage of GST decreased by 10%. Now 60:40. Syllabus of Taxation paper shall be same in old/new scheme for May 2018.

  • There are more than 600 students who scored 60% or more marks in taxation in May 2013 examinations and that is the highest figure all over India.
  • The highest number of rankholders were in November 2011 (33 rankholders).
  • In November 2010, the All India Topper with the highest marks in taxation was from MK Gupta CA Education, Vijender Aggarwal, roll no. 174639.
  • In May 2010, the All India Topper withy the highest marks in taxation was from MK Gupta CA Education, Prachi Jain, roll no. 66312.
  • In May 2010, Prachi Jain was selected for the Best Paper Award in taxation by ICAI.
